Rich Text Format (RTF) files can be opened with many word processing programs, and the data can be copied and pasted into spreadsheet programs.

 

Researchers wishing to compile pre-1998 statewide Election Day registration, turnout and absentee ballot statistics may data enter the information from the relevant Statement of Vote image files. The statistics are typically the last item shown in a Statement’s "Table of Contents."

 

CONTENT NOTE: Registration and turnout data is not presented by party affiliation and no such data is collected by election officials for state and municipal elections. In some cases, that data may be available for party primary elections only.
