Connecticut Election Cybersecurity Task Force

The Connecticut Cybersecurity Task Force is an effort led by Secretary Merrill in conjunction with both Republican and Democratic representatives, security advisors, Information Technology specialists, municipalities, and other stakeholder agencies with an aim to further improve and strengthen our state’s election cybersecurity. The goal of the task force is to create an ongoing dialogue to adopt and apply best cybersecurity practices, as well as discuss our municipalities’ IT structure and develop an Incident Response Plan to help mitigate future threats to our elections.
