SOMERS POLICE DEPARTMENT CERTIFIED PART TIME SRO

PART TIME SOMERS SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER, Part time Starting Salary -   $26.00 - $28.00 per hour. The Town of Somers is currently accepting applications from POSTC certified Police Officers or certified State Troopers who are interested in a comparative compliance/ lateral transfer for the position of Somers part time School Resource Officer/ Patrol Officer.   The selected candidate(s) would work 12 shifts a month/ 9 hour shifts.  The selected candidate(s) would be required to work as a part time town of Somers patrol officer during the summer months and during miscellaneous school closures – i.e. school vacation, snow day(s), teacher’s conference, etc.  to include nights and weekends.
