PROSPECT POLICE DEPARTMENT
PART TIME - CERTIFIED: The Town of Prospect seeks Police Officers who have a current, valid POST certification as a Police Officer in the State of Connecticut or are a retired CT State Trooper. The successful candidate must be eligible for and meet all the requirements for a lateral transfer as established by the Police Officer Standards and Training Council. In addition, the successful candidate will be scheduled for, and must pass the following: a written examination, physical examination, background investigation, polygraph, psychological and Urinalysis drug test. Qualification: Possession of a valid driver's license, Valid POST-C certification as a Police Officer. Must be retired in good standings. Candidate must be eligible to work a minimum of 8 Patrol shifts per month, which will include Days, Evenings, Midnights, along with weekends and Holidays.
