The division regularly reviews outside in-service training courses for POSTC review training credit. The division works cooperatively with other state, federal, and local agencies including the Connecticut State Police Division of Criminal Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, State of CT Office of Policy and Management and regional police training associations.

It is the mission of the Field Services Training Division to provide all police personnel with challenging, professional, innovative, and contemporary police training at the Connecticut Police Academy or at various training sites.
