Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut Housing Commissioner Seila Mosquera-Bruno today announced that the Lamont administration and the Connecticut Department of Housing are making a $30 million investment to launch CT Home Funds, a series of three housing programs designed to preserve, incentivize, and increase homeownership opportunities across Connecticut.

Governor Ned Lamont today announced that his administration was notified this week by the Trump administration through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that it is immediately terminating a number of grants estimated to total more than $150 million that had been allocated to Connecticut for a wide range of essential public health, mental health, and addiction services, such as disease outbreak surveillance, newborn screenings, childhood immunizations, and testing for viruses and other pathogens.

Governor Ned Lamont today announced that the FY 2026/2027 biennial state budget proposal that he presented to the Connecticut General Assembly last month continues recent trends under his administration of increasing state funding for Connecticut's town and city governments to support the administration and delivery of municipal services, even while the state has made challenging funding decisions and streamlined costs across state government.
