THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY TOURS ARC PROJECT IN MERIDEN; OPENS EDUCATION TOUR IN HARTFORD

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit the Arc of Meriden-Wallingford for an opportunity to tour the organization's new aquaponics facility and speak with its staff about the benefits the project will provide to the community. The Arc of Meriden-Wallingford is a membership agency that provides community-based opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The aquaponics project will provide employment to individuals with disabilities in addition to healthy food for the Arc Eatery and the general public.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will host the first event of his Education Reform Tour in Hartford, where he will discuss with residents the need to fix what's broken in Connecticut's public schools.
