WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY TESTIFIES BEFORE CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE ON JOB CREATION; MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will testify at a hearing of the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce entitled "Expanding Opportunities for Job Creation," where he will speak about state proposals to encourage fiscal discipline and job creation, as well as various federal policies that affect state efforts on this issue. Later, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in Hartford to announce a legislative proposal on affordable housing. The Governor will be joined by other state officials and lawmakers.
