TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT ADA COALITION CEREMONY; MEETS WITH COMMISSIONERS; ATTENDS MAYOR MIKE PETERS BRIDGE DEDICATION
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give remarks at a ceremony commemorating the 21st anniversary of passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Also on Tuesday morning, Governor Malloy will hold his monthly meeting with the commissioners of each state agency, during which Department of Social Services Commissioner Rod Bremby and Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner Bill Rubenstein will each give presentations with updates on issues concerning their respective agencies.
On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Malloy will attend the bridge dedication ceremony in honor of former Hartford Mayor Mike Peters. The Capital City Economic Development Authority will be naming the bridge connecting Riverfront Plaza and the Connecticut Science Center with the Connecticut Convention Center the "Mayor Mike Peters Bridge."
