MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY ON JOBS TOUR VISITS SPECIALIZED TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES IN SOMERS
(HARTFORD, CT) - Continuing on his Jobs Tour, on Monday morning Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit with executives and staff of Specialized Technology Resources, Inc. in Somers. STR, which employs 121 people at its Somers and Enfield facilities, engineers and manufactures the most stable photovoltaic adhesive encapsulants in the photovoltaic-solar module business, formulating new technologies that generate electrical power by converting solar radiation into direct current electricity. The visit will allow Governor Malloy and the company's executives an opportunity to discuss development strategy and overall business outlook.
