Update on New DAS Management Briefing Series

"We have had a tremendous response to this event, and are overfilled at 200+. Therefore we are asking you to spread the word that walk-ins to this event will be turned away. Since there are so many Managers who wanted to attend but could not, we are asking everyone to please be courteous. If you will be unable to attend, please contact Peggy Zabawar to cancel your registration to free the slot for another Manager. Email peggy.zabawar@ct.gov, or call 860-713-5246. You may also allow another agency manager to take your place BUT, he/she must KNOW THE REGISTERED MANAGER'S NAME, in order to be allowed into the event. The Department of Administrative Services, Strategic Resources Management announced its first "Management Briefing" session for State of Connecticut managers. The program topic is "Ethics and Employment Law Update for Managers" and will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 from 8:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Phoenix Auditorium at the Department of Environmental Protection.
Management Briefings will be offered periodically throughout the year and will focus on topics that managers need to know in order to execute their responsibilities in the most correct and cost effective manner possible.
