The State of Connecticut was awarded $3,389,272 in Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration grant program funding and $325,000 in Healthy Homes initiative funding. The State of Connecticut will address lead hazards in 225 housing units providing safer homes for low and very low-income families with children. The State will also perform healthy homes assessments in 225 units. The State will collaborate with three state agencies, fifteen communities, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and other medical and social service providers.
