Thank you for taking the time to participate in the State Park's Survey. If you have requested a copy of the survey results, you will receive them via email at the completion of the survey. For more information on our Connecticut State Parks or various programs and passes, you can visit the links below.

Season Pass for State Parks For the frequent park visitor, Connecticut offers a special season pass at a nominal fee. The pass allows unlimited vehicle access with the window sticker to any state park or recreation area that has a parking fee for no extra charge. Season passes cost $100 for Connecticut residents and $150 for Out-of State residents. They can be purchased online at the DEP Store, by mail or in person.

Charter Oak Pass (Life Use) The Charter Oak Pass provides access to the State Parks and Forests and is available free to Connecticut residents, 65 years of age or older. The pass is accepted at all day use areas where a parking fee applies. Presenting it allows free access for the entering vehicle and passengers. The pass holder does not have to be the vehicle driver.

Heritage Passport

The Heritage Passport allows the bearer to gain admittance to three facilities (Dinosaur, Fort Trumbull and Gillette Castle State Parks) for unlimited visitation until the end of the calendar year in which it was purchased. The Heritage Passport cost is $100.00 and will allow a family (2 adults and up to 4 children) unlimited admittance to the three facilities. The Heritage Passport can be purchased at any one of the three facilities.

More than any other generation, today's kids spend a great deal of time indoors. No Child Left Inside? is a promise, and a pledge... to help Connecticut's children live active, healthier lives while they enjoy the natural treasures of our state parks and forests - and discover the rewards of becoming environmentally conscious citizens.

This very special outreach, education and public awareness campaign was created to encourage families to enjoy all the recreational resources and outdoor activities offered by Connecticut's state parks, forests and waterways.
