How To Apply



Individuals must submit an application using the on-line SurveyMonkey Apply platform at https://ctofficeofthearts.smapply.org.

Important Application Reminders
When in the on-line system, be sure to complete each of the following steps:

  1. Complete the MAHAFFEY FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION

  2. Complete the COMPLIANCE: GOOD STANDING STATUS

  3. Complete the ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND SIGNATURE

  4. Hit the green SUBMIT button. You will receive a confirmation email - actually two (2) - if you have successfully submitted. If you do not receive these emails, you did not submit. The email comes from SurveyMonkey - check all your folders including Junk/Spam.

The Application

In addition to basic information and simple questions, you will be asked to provide the following:

  1. Your resume or CV

  2. A letter of recommendation that speaks of your administrative and leadership potential. *does not have to be from your affiliated arts organization

  3. Details about the professional development activity, including information on the service provider, dates and cost.

  4. A narrative regarding how the professional development activity will help advance your career as an arts administrator with a focus on how it will help to advance both your professional and personal growth.  * there is not minimum or maximum word count

  5. A narrative about what Equity in the field of arts administration means to you.

Applications are due by Wednesday, April 7, 2021 by 11:59 PM.
