Consumer Alert: Alcohol Sales Not Allowed on Christmas or New Year’s Day

The Department of Consumer Protection is reminding Connecticut residents that hours for some liquor permittees change on holidays. Hours for cannabis licensees are unaffected, and if you choose to gamble you can do that too.

Little Tikes toy recalled by Creative Kids following an inspection by DCP Inspectors. The toy is a set of colorful shapes with numbers and pictures. Some of the the shapes are too small for young children.

DCP is warning the public that “Melvas Ho Cookies Maribel” sold at CTown Supermarkets and other small specialty stores in Connecticut have been voluntarily recalled by Pan La Paz LLC for containing unlabeled coconut, an allergen that can cause serious illness
