Three-Day Right to Cancel a Contract

If you sign a contract in the seller’s normal place of business, you may have seventy two hours, or three days, in which to cancel the contract for certain contracts in the State of Connecticut.

The three-day cancellation option must be included in contracts such as:

  • Health Clubs
  • Time Shares
  • Home Improvement
  • Dating Services
The three-day cancellation right does not apply to real estate contracts, new home construction contracts and automobile contracts.
