Message from Sue Baillargeon 10/26/12 via e-mail
Hi everyone,
Deana and I have decided that it is in all our best interests to postpone the graduation ceremony from next week until November 19th. We will still hold it at the DOT Training Center at 2780 Berlin Turnpike Newington CT 06111 at the same time. We are fairly certain that Connecticut will experience some impact from Hurricane Sandy during the coming days and both of us would feel better knowing that we can all focus on preparation and recovery (if need be, following any storm impact).
Please send us your materials if you haven’t already; they are still due today. If you are having any problems please contact Deana (Deana.Giordano@ct.gov ) or me (Susan.Baillargeon@ct.gov) and we’ll help you work out a solution. For the Judicial participants, or anyone else having trouble sending them electronically, please print everything, put it in a large envelope and send it to address above in the regular U.S. mail addressed to me, Susan Baillargeon, DOT Training Center at 2780 Berlin Turnpike Newington CT 06111.
Please be safe and prepare well for extended power outages and all the other issues that come up when this happens. Check the www.redcross.org website to find out how to prepare your home and family for a hurricane.
