At the completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how to conduct a formative evaluation.
  • Describe Kirkpatrick’s four levels of evaluation used to assess training effectiveness.
  • Design a level one (reaction) evaluation.
  • Design a pre-test and post-test, level 2 (learning) evaluation, given a courses learning objectives
  • Describe how to evaluate learning using Kirkpatrick’s level 3 (transfer) criteria.
  • Describe how to evaluate learning using Kirkpatrick’s level 4 (results) criteria.
