At the completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the difference between learner-centered and trainer-centered training.
  • Describe and discuss Adult Learning Theory principles.
  • Complete a Learning Styles Inventory to determine participants own learning style preferences.
  • Compare and contrast different learning styles and how participants own style may impact the way they design and present training.
  • Design their programs to encompass all learning styles.
  • Choose training strategies for each of the learning styles and explain why each is beneficial to a person with each style.
  • Select training strategies for a program based on the participants, the resources, and the organizational goals.
