RE: DOCKET NO. 265 - Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. application to modify an existing electric generating facility (Millstone Power Station) to establish an independent spent fuel storage installation on property located off Rope Ferry Road, Waterford, Connecticut.

The Connecticut Siting Council has scheduled a field review for this docket on Thursday, October 16, 2003, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Council members will meet at the Millstone Power Station Stimulator Building Parking Area located off the access road to the Millstone Power Station. Map is enclosed.

A public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, October 16, 2003, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Waterford Town Hall Auditorium, 15 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford, Connecticut.

DIRECTIONS

  • Take I-95 to Exit 72 (the Rocky Neck Connector)

  • At end of exit turn left onto Route 156

  • Follow Route 156 East to Niantic and follow over Niantic Bay Draw Bridge

  • After crossing bridge, look for entrance to Millstone Nuclear Power Station on the right

  • Follow access road to a short distance and turn right into Simulator Building Parking Area. This is a staging area for field review.
