Long Island Sound Resource and Use Inventory/Long Island Sound Blue Plan Survey

The Connecticut Siting Council (Council) has scheduled a field review for Monday, August 18, 2003, to visit the proposed site in this docket. Council members should meet at 1:45 p.m. at the Durham Public Library, 7 Maple Avenue, Durham, Connecticut, to carpool to the proposed site and begin the field review at 2:00 p.m.

The Council will hold a hearing on this docket on the same day in the Lower Level Conference Room of the Durham Public Library, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and continued at 7:00 p.m.

From the North:

  • Take Route 9 South through Middletown

  • Take Exit 13 off of Route 9 to Route 17 South. Follow Route 17 South to Durham Center

  • Take a right onto Maple Avenue, just north of the Town Green, to the parking lot of the Durham Public Library on the right

  • Meet at 1:45 p.m.

    • From the South:

    • Take Route 91 North to Exit 15 in Wallingford

    • From Exit 15 follow Route 68 east to Durham

    • At intersection of Route 68 with Route 17, take right onto Route 17 to Durham Public Library, as above

      • Directions to Proposed Site:

      • From the Durham Public Library, take a right onto Route 17 South

      • Follow Route 17

      • At junction with Route 79, bear right on Route 17

      • At junction with Route 77, bear right on Route 17

      • Follow Route 17 to left on Meetinghouse Hill Road

      • Take right off of Meetinghouse Hill Road onto Creamery Road

      • Proposed site is at 134R Creamery Road
