CT Fire Academy 2022 Summer Symposium Information

On behalf of the instructors and staff of the Connecticut Fire Academy, I am pleased to
present the 2022 Summer Symposium. “June School” has a long and proud history in
the CT Fire Service educating fire service members at all levels. In the past few years the
attendance has been impacted by many variables including the COVID 19 Pandemic.
As the new Director, I have committed to breathing new life into this valued program.

In the spring of 2022 we surveyed the CT Fire Service and are building an all-new
program based on the feedback we received. As a result of the survey, we will be
offering a three-day symposium that will include classroom and hands on sessions.
We have worked with our instructor cadre to build new classes and improve classes
previously delivered. We are excited to unveil our all new program, Modern Fire
Dynamics class that is directly derived from the UL-FSRI Fire Dynamics Boot Camp.

We are excited to bring you high fidelity, fast paced classes that you have asked for
including live fire options at both the CT Fire Academy and Fairfield Regional Fire
School campuses.

In addition, we are building an exhibit area and inviting vendors from across New
England and beyond to join us to showcase their fire and EMS products that support
you each and every day.

Please accept this as a personal invitation to attend the 2022 CT Fire Academy Summer
Symposium. Regardless if you are a vendor, firefighter, officer or Chief Officer we will have
something for you.
