Directions to Simsbury Town Hall

Simsbury Town Hall is at 933 Hopmeadow Street (Route 10 and 202) in Simsbury.  If you are coming from the east or west and are familiar with Route 44 in Avon, look for the turn onto Route 10 North and follow Route 10 into Simsbury.  If not, the directions below will get you there from I-84 or I-91.

The meeting and public forum are in Room 123 on the main floor.  Parking is available on the north side of the building.  Enter the building on the north side and follow the signs.

From I-84

  • Take Exit 39 (Route 4, Farmington).
  • At the end of the ramp, go straight onto Route 4 into Farmington Center. Take a right onto Route 10 North. Follow Route 10 into Avon.
  • At the intersection of Route 10 and Route 44 (Avon Old Farms Hotel will be on your right) go left onto Route 44.
  • At the 3rd traffic light, turn right to get back onto Route 10 North. Follow Route 10 into Simsbury for about 6 miles.
  • Town Hall is on your left approx. 500 feet past fire station.

From I-91 Southbound (from northern CT)

  • Take Exit 38, Day Hill Road.
  • Go straight on Day Hill Road, and at the 7th light take a right onto Blue Hills Avenue Extension (Route 189).
  • Stay in the right hand lane to (Route 189 North) Tariffville Granby exit.
  • At the first light turn left onto Route 315.
  • Go to the stop sign, turn left.
  • At the first light, take a left on Route 202 and Route 10 south.
  • You are now on Hopmeadow Street. Continue continue south approx. 1 ¼ miles.
  • Town Hall is on your right approx. 600 feet past Mobil Station

From I-91 Northbound (from southern Ct.)

  • Take exit 37, Bloomfield Avenue.

  • Take a left at the end of the ramp and head west on Route 305.

  •  Follow route 305 to Route 187 and turn right onto route 187 north.

  • Take route 187 to Route 189; stay in the right lane (Granby exit).

  •  At the first light turn left onto Route 315.

  • Go to the stop sign, turn left.

  • At the first light, take a left on Route 202 and Route 10 south.

  • You are now on Hopmeadow Street. Continue south approx. 1 ¼ miles.

  • Town Hall is on your right approx. 600 feet past Mobil Station.
