Friday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Speaks at Veterans Events in Hamden and Darien

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will join veterans and their families at a ceremony to honor five Hamden-area veterans who passed away this year and reflect on the service and sacrifice of Connecticut's veterans.

In the afternoon, the Lt. Governor will join state and local officials at Hindley Elementary School for a veterans ceremony with students. During the event, Optimum communications (News 12 and Cablevision) will present a $2,500 donation to the Darien VFW.
