Secretary Thomas' Statement on Upcoming Bond Commission Vote to Approve $25 Million for New Voting Machines
(Hartford, CT) – Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas issued the following statement following Governor Lamont’s announcement that the Connecticut State Bond Commission will vote on October 6, 2023, to approve an allocation of $25 million for new tabulators:
“I’m grateful to Governor Lamont and his team for their ongoing support in our efforts to modernize our election infrastructure. I’m encouraged by the timing of the Bond Commission meeting and look forward to getting the RFP process started.”
