Secretary of the State Mark Kohler to Randomly Select Voting Precincts to Have Primary Election Results Audited
Precincts will be selected tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall of Flags at the Capitol Building in Hartford
HARTFORD - Connecticut Secretary of the State Mark Kohler will randomly select voting precincts to have results audited following the August 9th primary election. Five percent of the polling precincts that use optical scan machines are subject to the audit, as prescribed by Connecticut General Statutes 9-320f. Those audited ballots will be matched against the vote totals from the optical scan machines.
