HARTFORD — Connecticut Secretary of the State Denise Merrill has joined the Election Infrastructure Subsector Government Coordinating Council (EIS-GCC) of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) as an alternate member for 2020-2021.
“Fellow members of the Council and I are working tirelessly to keep our election infrastructure secure from foreign attack,” said Connecticut Secretary of the State Denise Merrill. “In Connecticut, every valid vote cast will be a vote counted.”
The members and alternate members will serve until the conclusion of the Summer 2021 EIS-GCC meeting.
