Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas Selects Ballot Order for 2024 Presidential Preference Primary on April 2
(Hartford, CT) - Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas today selected the ballot order for the Tuesday, April 2, Presidential Preference Primary, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Title 9, Section 470. The ceremony, which took place at New Haven’s Achievement First Amistad High School, was livestreamed on the Office of the Secretary of the State’s Facebook account.
The following Democratic candidates were selected to appear on the ballot in the following order:
1. Marianne Williamson
2. Dean Phillips
3. Cenk Uygur
4. Joe Biden
The following Republican candidates were selected to appear on the ballot in the following order:
1. Ron DeSantis
2. Nikki Haley
3. Donald Trump
4. Ryan Binkley
The 2024 Presidential Preference Primary will be the first election in Connecticut with early voting. The early voting days for that election will be Tuesday, March 26, Wednesday, March 27; Thursday, March 28; and Saturday, March 30.
