Connecticut Voters: There is Still Time to Make History! Early Voting Continues Saturday; Secretary Thomas Releases Second Early Voting Update
(Hartford, CT) – Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas today issued a reminder to Connecticut voters: there is still time to make history! The state’s inaugural early voting period for the Presidential Preference Primary will continue Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Voters may find their town’s early voting location at MyVote.CT.gov.
“We asked voters to help us test the system and make their voices heard, and voters of Connecticut answered the call,” said Secretary Thomas. “In just three days of early voting, over 13,000 people have cast their ballots. It’s been a smooth process with no major issues, and we thank the registrars and town clerks for their hard work in implementing early voting.”
Deputy Secretary Jacqueline Kozin added: “We’re proud of the effort our elections team and registrars put in, and we thank all the agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations who helped us get the word out about early voting. It takes a village to build something new, and this was civic engagement at its finest.”
