Schools across Connecticut are reopening for the 2020-21 school year using one of three learning models, i.e., in-person, hybrid, or remote. The school reopening plans also allow parents to opt their students into full remote learning.
Local communities began to develop youth service bureaus in the 1960's as a response to a growing number of issues affecting youth. The role of Youth Service Bureaus (YSBs) has been broadened to include both advocacy and coordination of a comprehensive service delivery system for youth.

The purpose of the Parent Trust Fund is to support programs aimed at improving the health, safety and education of children by training parents in civic leadership skills and supporting increased, sustained, and quality parental engagement in community affairs.
