Preface

We hope that the materials on the following pages will assist you in the teaching of the Holocaust and genocide in in the secondary grades. We have provided you with an overarching essay on these topics, some lesson ideas and some excellent resources. Additional teaching ideas and teaching resources will be added as the year progresses. We will also begin to add some strategies for teaching these important topics in the elementary grades.

Thanks should go out to all of the university and secondary-level teaching professionals who contributed to the creation of these pages.
