NetStat 2025
NetStat CONNect is a year-round professional learning series designed to bring together high-quality offerings from across the Connecticut State Department of Education. Unlike traditional one-day convenings, NetStat CONNect provides multiple free sessions in a variety of formats throughout the year, giving schools ongoing opportunities to engage a wider range of staff in learning that supports whole-school improvement.
While these professional learning opportunities are open more broadly, NetStat CONNect is a curated series designed specifically for Commissioner’s Network, School Improvement Grant, Turnaround, and Focus Schools. Throughout the year, upcoming sessions will be shared on a rolling basis. Some sessions will be required, while many will be optional opportunities that schools may select based on their needs, goals, and improvement priorities.

Your Data, Your Direction: Understanding Identification and Next Steps
This session moved beyond the basics of Connecticut’s Next Generation Accountability System to unpack how school identification and exit decisions were made. Participants learned how to interpret the rules behind accountability designations and explored how to use accountability data not only for compliance, but as a meaningful driver of improvement planning and progress monitoring toward equitable student outcomes.
