Overview

Adult Education complies with the assessment, accountability and reporting required by state and federal statutes and guidelines as outlined in its State Plan for Adult Education and Family Literacy. Annual performance reports are submitted to the federal government and to various entities at the state level in order to comply with these requirements. The information that the Connecticut State Department of Education collects also helps educators inform instruction, monitor progress, and demonstrate program performance.
