The Contracting Standards Advisory Council (CSAC) makes recommendations to the State Contracting Standards Board (SCSB) on how to improve the procurement process across the state.
To do this, CSAC conducts studies, research, and analyses on the State’s purchasing of good and services. The Council then makes reports and recommendations on topics that fall under the Board’s authority. Put simply, CSAC does the research and legwork so that the SCSB can make more informed decisions about how the state handles its contracts.
