Connie provides the technology infrastructure to allow safe and trusted exchange of patient data to improve delivery and coordination of patient care across the spectrum of the state’s healthcare providers.

  (HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut Office of Healthcare Strategy Executive Director Victoria Veltri today announced that the State of Connecticut has been accepted into the Peterson-Milbank Program for Sustainable Health Care Costs. Launched earlier this year by the Milbank Memorial Fund, the nationwide program was created to advance state efforts on addressing the growth of healthcare costs.

  Hartford – Office of Health Strategy (OHS) Executive Director Vicki Veltri and Jenn Searls, Executive Director of the Health Information Alliance, Inc., dba Connie, jointly announced today that Connie, Connecticut’s health information exchange, has secured participation by twenty-five healthcare providers, including two of the state’s largest hospital systems, the largest provider group, and the state’s Medicaid administrative services organization.

The Facility Fee report examines revenues certain hospital outpatient centers generated from facility fees in Calendar Year 2019, the medical procedures that generate those fees, and five-year trend data.
