(HARTFORD, CT) – On Tuesday afternoon, the Connecticut Office of Health Strategy (OHS) will hold a public hearing in West Hartford for the Hebrew Home and Hospital Certificate of Need application for termination of its Acute Care Unit and establishment of a 38-bed geriatric behavioral health facility. Members of the public are invited to attend and/or submit comment.
Pursuant to multiple sections of the General Statutes, OHS leads the Health Systems Planning Unit that administers the Certificate of Need program—a regulatory responsibility to promote statewide health facility and service development and monitor the community impact of provider acquisitions and consolidations.
