Overview

The Consent Policy Design Group, created and sponsored by the Health IT Advisory Council, will be officially kicking off on April 9, 2019. The Design Group is composed of volunteer stakeholders from across the healthcare industry. The group will meet a total of eight times before delivering a final set of recommendations to the Advisory Council this summer. The Design Group will conduct a broad review and analysis of existing consent policies and best practices, both within Connecticut and at the national-level, and will assess the policy implications and considerations applicable to the statewide health information exchange.
