Children in Connecticut with low family income may qualify for HUSKY (Healthcare for Uninsured Kids and Youth). The HUSKY Plan is a comprehensive health insurance program to help Connecticut families obtain and afford coverage for their children.

The Office of the Healthcare Advocate (OHA) provides free support to help consumers understand their health benefits, advocates for consumers when their benefits are denied, and represents consumers' healthcare interests with insurance providers, the legislature, and others.
