The above-captioned matter was heard as a contested case on October 20, 2014, at which time the complainants and the respondents appeared, stipulated to certain facts and presented testimony, exhibits and argument on the complaint.

     For purposes of the hearing, this matter was consolidated with Docket #FIC 2014-076; Edward Peruta and American News and Information Services, Inc. v. Dora Schriro, Commissioner, State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection; and State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection; and Docket #FIC 2014-537; Edward Peruta and American News and Information Services, Inc. v. Dora Schriro, Commissioner, State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection; State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection; Commissioner, State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services; and State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services.

     During the hearing, however, the complainants stated, on the record, that they wished to withdraw the complaint in this matter.

     The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:

     1.  The complaint is hereby dismissed.  The parties are commended for reaching an amicable resolution to the complaint in this matter.
