The above-captioned matter was heard as a contested case on July 31, 2014, at which time the complainant and the respondents appeared.  Shortly after the commencement of the July 31, 2014 contested case hearing, the parties agreed to meet with the ombudsman assigned to the case.  After approximately ninety minutes, the hearing officer and the parties went back on the record, at which time the parties made a joint motion to continue the hearing.  The motion was granted, and the contested case hearing was continued to August 22, 2014.

     By letter dated August 13, 2014 and received August 14, 2014, the complainant informed the Commission that his complaint should be considered withdrawn.  The Commission takes administrative notice of such letter.

     The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:

     1.  Based on the withdrawal of the complaint, the case is hereby dismissed.

     2.  The Commission commends the parties on having worked so diligently on the resolution of this case.
