Special Notice to All Seed Oyster Fishermen

Please complete and return the attached Seed Oyster Tax Registration Form to obtain your tax registration number and Harvester License.

You will be subject to a tax of 10% for each bushel of seed oyster harvested from the Bridgeport-Stratford Natural Bed. All monies collected will be deposited into a special fund to be used solely for the Shell Program.

A tax return will be sent to you on a quarterly basis. The first return and tax will be due no later than January 31, 1989, for the calendar quarter October 1 through December 31, 1988.
