Quarterly List of Distributors for
Motor Vehicles Fuels Tax Purposes

Purpose: This Announcement publishes the quarterly list of distributors that are licensed for motor vehicle fuels tax purposes. The policy behind publishing an annual list and quarterly lists of persons being added to or deleted from the last list is discussed in Policy Statement 92(14.4), Annual and Quarterly Lists of Distributors for Motor Vehicle Fuels Tax Purposes. The statutory authority for the publication of this information may be found in Conn. Gen. Stat. §12-458(a).
New Diesel Fuel Distributors: Since the last list was published, the following persons have been licensed as distributors of diesel fuel, propane, natural gas, or number 2 heating oil only. As of the date indicated below, motor vehicle fuels tax is not payable on sales of diesel fuel, propane, natural gas, or number 2 heating oil to the following persons:

New "Tax Paid" Gasoline Distributors: Since the last list was published, no distributors have been licensed as "tax paid" gasoline distributors only.
Former "Tax Paid" Gasoline Distributors: Since the last list was published, the following person is no longer licensed as "tax paid" gasoline distributor only. As of the date indicated below, gasoline is not permitted to be sold to the following person:

Effect on Other Documents: Because it is not cumulative, this document must be read in conjunction with Announcement 2001(2), Annual List of Distributors for Motor Vehicle Fuels Tax Purposes, which was published on 2/28/01.
