Quarterly List of Distributors for Motor Vehicle Fuels Tax Purposes

PURPOSE: The purpose of this Announcement is to publish the quarterly list of distributors that are licensed for motor vehicle fuels tax purposes. The policy behind publishing an annual list and quarterly lists of persons being added to or deleted from the last list is discussed in PS 92(14.4), Annual and Quarterly Lists of Distributors for Motor Vehicle Fuels Tax Purposes. The statutory authority for publication of this information may be found in Conn. Gen. Stat. §12-458(a).
NEW DIESEL FUEL DISTRIBUTORS: Since the last annual list was published, the following persons have been licensed as distributors of DIESEL FUEL, PROPANE or NATURAL GAS only. As of the date indicated below, motor vehicle fuels tax is not payable on sales of diesel fuel, propane or natural gas to:

NEW MOTOR VEHICLE FUELS EXPORTERS: Since the last annual list was published, no new fuel exporters have been licensed as exporters of MOTOR FUELS (other than gasohol, diesel fuel, propane and natural gas) only.
FORMER MOTOR VEHICLE FUELS EXPORTERS: Since the last annual list was published, no fuel exporters have ceased to be licensed as exporters of MOTOR FUELS (other than gasohol, diesel fuel, propane and natural gas) only.

EFFECT OF THIS DOCUMENT: An Announcement is a document that alerts taxpayers to new developments (other than newly enacted or amended Connecticut or federal laws or newly released judicial decisions), including new administrative positions, policies or practices.
