People in biohazard suitsThe Connecticut Department of Public Health, in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Connecticut State Police, the 14th Civil Support Team, Connecticut Poison Control Center and The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station offers a training seminar to first responders regarding the safe and effective response to a terrorist attack. The training subject matter will include physiological effects of terrorism agents, investigation strategies, scene management and response protocols. This is a unique training opportunity in which participants will work through an actual scenario. This course is offered free of charge and is geared towards first responders in police, fire, ambulance and public health organizations.
