Information for Mpox Vaccine Providers
The information below is for providers currently partnering with Connecticut Department of Public Health to administer JYNNEOS vaccine as part of the mpox vaccine provider network. Providers not currently in the network but interested in joining should contact DPH via dph.mpox@ct.gov with the subject “Interested in becoming Mpox Vaccine Provider.” Expressed interest does not guarantee participation but all requests will be considered.

VACCINE PROVIDER MANUAL
Guidance for mpox vaccine providers can be found in the Mpox Vaccine Provider Manual (updated 9/26/2022). The manual includes participation requirements, reporting requirements, operations and implementation information, and other helpful resources.

REGIMEN ADMINISTRATION SITES
CDC has updated their JYNNEOS interim considerations to allow administration in more discreet sites, specifically the deltoid and upper back. The forearm remains an acceptable site, but the alternative sites can be used when the forearm is not an option or when a patient has a strong preference for an alternative site.
