Project 0085-0147 Webpage

Welcome to the webpage for Project 0085-0147, Rehabilitation of the Mohegan-Pequot Bridge in the Towns of Montville and Preston. 

A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Montville Public Safety Building located at 911 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville, CT 06382. It will also take place on Zoom. 

This public information meeting is being held to provide the public and local community the opportunity to offer comments or ask questions regarding the proposed project. 

The purpose of this project is to address existing bridge deterioration and extend the service life for another 20 years or more.

Right-of-way impacts are not anticipated.

Construction is expected to start in spring 2028, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $32.8 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.

Members of the public can submit comments and questions during the two-week public comment period following the meeting. Please direct comments and questions by Tuesday, November 12, 2024 to:
