Welcome to the webpage for Project 0085-0147, Rehabilitation of the Mohegan-Pequot Bridge in the Towns of Montville and Preston.
A virtual public informational meeting for the project was held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting took place at the Montville Public Safety Building located at 911 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville, CT 06382. The purpose of this project is to address existing bridge deterioration and extend the service life for another 20 years or more.
Right-of-way impacts are not anticipated.
Construction is expected to start in spring 2028, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $32.8 million, with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
