DETAILING SYMBOL STYLES AND DRAWING SEEDS
Detailing Symbol tools are used to simplify and standardize the placement of section, detail, elevation callouts, and title text when creating sheets.
Access to the Detailing Symbol Tools is found on the CTDOT workflow by selecting the Annotate tab in the Detailing Section.
Two Detailing Styles for Titles are available:
- Center Title – Centers the detail title with no detail bubble
- Default – Left justifies the title with a detail bubble on the right
Note: The Section, Detail and Elevation Callouts will look the same no matter what Detailing Style is active.
Drawing Seeds have been created and are available for selection when using the Detailing Tools. These seeds will auto select the Detailing Symbol Style based on the Seed that is selected. Note: The seeds listed as “Sheet Only” will not create a Drawing Model when the sheet is created.

DIMENSION STYLES
Access to the Dimensioning Tools can be found in the CTDOT workflow by selecting the CTDOT tab in the Dimensioning Section. On the Horizontal Text pulldown menu select the required Arch Accuracy, this will set the correct Dimension Style as well as set the dimensioning Level.
