CTDOT to Distribute Face Masks to Rail Riders at Stations Across the State
On Wednesday, August 12, Connecticut Department of Transportation officials will distribute free face masks to passengers at railroad stations around Connecticut. Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz and DOT Commissioner Joe Giulietti will be in attendance at the New Haven Union Station venue at 8:30 AM, Wednesday morning.
The schedule and stations are:
MORNING
Waterbury – 5:15am – 7:00am
Old Saybrook – 6:30am – 8:45am
Hartford – 6:15am – 9:30am
New Haven – 6:30am – 9:00am
West Haven – 7:00am – 9:00am
Stamford – 7:00am – 9:00am
AFTERNOON
Hartford – 2:30pm – 6:00pm
New Haven – 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Fairfield – 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Bridgeport – 3:00pm – 7:00pm
The use of face coverings on public transportation was ordered by Governor Lamont in Executive Order No. 7BB, effective April 20, 2020.
