Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Proposed Service and Fare Equity Policy
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) operates a multimodal public transportation network of commuter rail and bus systems, as well as paratransit services. To ensure fairness and equity in the delivery of these services, CTDOT wishes to engage the public in a collaborative process to develop its public transportation equity policies. The purpose of these policies is to establish clear parameters and procedures to evaluate impacts to minority or economically disadvantaged populations whenever there is a major service or fare change proposal. No major service or fare changes are being proposed at this time.
CTDOT wants to hear your comments on our proposed policies and encourages you to provide us with input. Comments will be accepted from July 1, 2020, through August 14, 2020, via email or postal mail.
