Metro-North Track Maintenance and Connecticut Department of Transportation Capital Projects Require New Construction Train Schedule for New Haven Line Train Service Effective Sunday, April 14, 2019 - Weekday and Weekend Westbound Trains Leaving Earlier

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing the New Haven Line (NHL) spring construction schedule, which will begin on Sunday, April 14, 2019, to accommodate Metro-North track maintenance and CTDOT capital projects including bridge replacement and new interlockings. There are changes to train times on weekdays and weekends.

Driving While Distracted? It Will Cost You

CTDOT Announces ‘Community Connectivity’ Grants

Scheduled Short-Term “Rolling” Closure of Route 7 in New Milford for Oversize/Overweight Permitted Vehicle Move

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Route 7 in New Milford is scheduled to have a short-term “rolling” closure beginning at approximately 8:30 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, and ending at 5:00 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. The “rolling’ closure is necessary to facilitate the escort and permitted movement of an oversize/overweight vehicle carrying a transformer weighing 476,700 pounds on a specialized 12-axle trailer.
